Mark Twain's The Diaries of Adam & Eve
American humorist Mark Twain wrote the diaries in two parts: "The Diary of Adam" was written during the 1890's, when Twain was experiencing a downturn in his fortunes at the age of fifty-five. He wrote "The Diary of Eve"almost fifteen years later, after the death of his beloved wife Livy. This delightful adaptation puts these two voices from different times together, resulting in a remarkable and enduring love story, one that transcends the fragility and transience of early love, capturing an enduring love of a lifetime.
